You are bidding on an eight x 10 colour photograph of the USS Truxtun CGN 35 ( ex DLGN 35 ) , the nuclear propelled cruiser which served in the United States Navy from 1967 to 1995.The Truxtun began her life at the New York Shipbuilding Yards in Camden on June 17 1963. She was launched by the namesakes great grand daughter Mrs Kirby H Tappan on nineteen December 1964 , and was commissioned into the United States Navy on 27 May 1967.Photograph 1 is circa 1989 and shows overhead overall starboard bow view.Item two is an eight x 10 colour statistics sheet showing the ships crest, general 1989 characteristics , callsign, trivia and the ensign she proudly flew.Item 3 is an eight x 10 colour with a short history of the Truxtun, complete with a list of her Commanding Officers and a scale drawing.
