You are bidding an eight x 10 colour photograph of the USS John F Kennedy CVA/CV 67, the last conventionally powered aircraft carrier built by the United States.The Kennedy was laid down at Newport News Shipbuilding on 22 October 1964, was launched by her namesakes daughter Caroline on 27 May 1967 and commissioned into the United States Navy on seven September 1968.She had a long and distinguished career with such highlights as Flagship of the Red Sea Battle Force during Operation Desert Storm.She was decommissioned on March 23, 2007 to await disposal.Photograph 1 is a circa 1991 photograph an overall waterline starboard bow view.Item 2 is an eight x 10 colour statistics sheet showing both ships crest’s, general characteristics, callsign, trivia, her 1991 Desert Storm Air Wing, and the ensigns she proudly flew.Item 3 is an eight x 10 colour with a short history of the Kennedy , complete with a list of her Commanding Officers and shows a line drawing of the CV 67.
